About the Program

The Cerro Grande community lies on the outskirts of Chihuahua City. Most parents in Cerro Grande do not have high school diplomas. Women sell knitted goods in the market or work in maquiladoras (foreign-owned factories). Men make bricks or find work in construction. With small incomes, families have no access to running water–and children can rarely bathe. For dinner, children often eat cheap, packaged snacks. Parents try to send their children to school, but the public schools in the area often have no openings for these students.

Our Vida Victoriosa program empowers these families to live victoriously. Throughout the year, we provide children with one-on-one tutoring, daily meals, and nutritional supplements through our Miracle Milk program. In addition, Vida Victoriosa provides discipleship courses for the mothers of the students, along with other women in the area. Life is difficult for women in this community, and this discipleship course is a lifeline for many.

Because of our Vida Victoriosa program sponsors, families receive the knowledge they need to strive for better futures. Through Christ’s victory, they find their own.

How will your sponsorship help?

Your financial commitment will pay for students’ tuition and meals, as well as educational materials for our sessions, Bible studies, and discipleship courses. Your gifts give children in Cerro Grande the chance to live victoriously!
