About the Program

In the foothills of western Uganda, Reverend Kule Joram works to rescue teen girls from child marriage and help them get an education. In this area, poor farmers often marry their daughters off as child brides when they cannot afford food. They use the bride price to feed their younger children.

In the local language, Amaha means hope, and that is what this ministry is committed to–restoring the hope of an education and a future for these vulnerable girls.

How will your sponsorship help?

Your financial commitment will help 13 girls attend private boarding school, get three meals a day, and find security from the life sentence of becoming a child bride. In addition, these girls receive spiritual care, mentorship, and friendship with other like-minded girls striving for a better future.
