We are excited to share that we will travel to South Asia* on a mission trip with our church, Redeemer Rockwall, and their partner Children's Relief International (CRI). We’ll serve in a variety of ministries within two areas. 

First, we will visit a large city with over 15 million people where we will witness and pray with women trapped in the brothel system and share Bible stories with their children, many who themselves become victims of this trade. In this city’s slums, we’ll teach VBS lessons to little ones who attend CRI’s preschools.

Then we will travel to a more remote Deep Forest area where we look forward to participating in medical camps as we visit the lowest caste and tribal people. Over the last decade CRI has begun a church planting movement in the Deep Forest, and the gospel is spreading. There we will also distribute food and Bibles, dedicate a water well and worship together in various churches.

One of the highlights of the trip will be to interact with the children living in the Rajah Children's Home (RCH). These kids are here because their parents cannot support them. Living at RCH allows them to hear how much Jesus loves them, as well as receive an education, giving them a chance to break the cycle of poverty.

South Asia is a place full of extremes—full of life and color, rich tastes and smells, music and dancing. But it is also full of darkness, extreme poverty, and many who have never heard the name of Christ. This makes supporting ministries like the CRI’s even more crucial as they share the light of Christ through Word and deed.
