CRI’s mission is to share the light of Christ with the poor of our time in Word and deed. Much of what we do centers on building living-bridge relationships between the church at home, and the poor around the world through stories and events. We are looking for a Storytelling Manager to help us awaken and enable more of God’s people.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Coordinate CRI’s writers, designers, and third-party vendors to execute events and campaigns with excellence.

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within CRI’s voice and design standards.

  • Work with Storytelling lead to develop project strategies, set deadlines, and track progress.

  • Work with Storytelling lead to identify and eliminate issues and blockers.

  • Projects may include, but are not limited to: fundraising events & digital campaigns, creation of print collateral and other deliverables for International Missionary Partners and US-based Missionaries, website updates, and general marketing & social media maintenance.

  • Experienced in project management.

  • Communicate clearly.

  • Love people, especially the poor.

  • Self-motivated, yet enjoys a team-based work environment.

  • Ability to write concisely and concretely.

  • Enjoy travel.

  • Adheres to and acts in line with CRI’s Values.

  • Agreement with CRI’s Statement of Faith.

  • Graphic design skills a bonus!

SALARY:

Like most traditional missionary roles, this position does not offer a traditional, paid salary. We will provide support-raising training, and give you a support coach to walk you through every step of the personal support-raising process. 

LOCATION: 

CRI’s Home Office in Rockwall, Texas. The role also includes 2-4 overseas trips a year.
